These are the illustrations i produced in the summer holidays.

The passages i used to draw these particular images are written as annotations.

I chose Sylvia Plath's book The Bell Jar because i had already previously read it and was familiar with it which meant i already had images in my head of what i expected things to look like. We were to choose 4 scenes from the book and illustrate them in our sketchbook. I had already produced 2 other illustrations of scenes i thought to contain alot of imagery. I then produced a larger scale of the drawing we thought showed the story of the book more and what we thought would be a successful drawing.
